A Guide for Beginners: Treasure Hunting
Advice to new treasure hunters.

In order to look for treasure, you need to know everything about it. The first step on the path to finding the treasure must be the most careful and scrupulous collection of information. The main advice that can be given to a treasure hunter at this stage: treat critically, with a healthy amount of skepticism, both the information you have obtained so as not to chase false leads, and the potential suppliers of this information, since there are still many people in the world who want to get rich by exaggerating their knowledge.

Advice two: Think before you act. Very often, information about the treasure is reported allegorically, in the form of riddles or puzzles, so often think about those messages that seem vague and unclear to you. Perhaps this is a hint pointing the right way.

Advice three: If you managed to get hold of a map, that's just fine! But remember: most of the treasures were buried a very long time ago and the area depicted on the map could look completely different now. Primarily rely on ancient landmarks such as Ayleid ruins, forts, caves and shrines.

The fourth and last piece of advice: As trite as it may sound, when going in search of treasure, be sure to take a pick and a shovel with you. Believe me, as a rule, treasures do not lie on the surface.
