Daggerfall Unity: Weapon MaterialEdit

Weapon material is an important factor in DFU combat. Some enemies cannot be hit with weapons that are too low material. Enemies also follow the same rules for weapon materials; if an enemy is trying to hit a werewolf or vampire with a weapon that is lower than silver in material, he or she will do no damage.

Material RequirementsEdit

The following list shows what materials can hit which enemies. All subsequent materials can hit any foe from a previous entry (ie: a Mithril sword can damage an imp just as well as a Steel one can). Unarmed fists can hit any enemy successfully.

  • Iron: Any enemy not listed below.
  • Steel: Imp.
  • Silver: Ghost; Mummy; Vampire; Wereboar; Werewolf; Wraith.
  • Elven: Nymph.
  • Dwarven: Harpy.
  • Mithril/Adamantium: Ancient Lich; any Daedra; Gargoyle; Lich; Vampire Ancient.

Material Combat ModifiersEdit
