Battlemage Areldur was a famed Altmeri battlemage of great prowess who perished during the defense of the Summerset Isles,[1] during the final campaign of Tiber Septim's conquest of the Tamriel in 2E 896.[2][UOL 1]
His highly-enchanted suit of armor came into possession of the Warrior at some point, ca. 4E 180.[1] Numerous Altmer battlemages wore suits of armor inspired by the great Areldur's attire in the Third Era.[3]

- According to some sources the Surrender of Alinor happened in one hour, but Numidium's siege lasted from the Mythic Era until long into the Fifth. Some of the Mirror Logicians of the Altmer are thought to fight it still in chrysalis shells that phase in and out of Tamrielic Prime, unbeknownst to their brethren unless they stare too long and break their own possipoints.[UOL 2]
