Gladesong Arboretum circa 2E 582

Gladesong Arboretum, also known as Druidic Grove was a druidic settlement located south of Clohaigh in the mountainous region of the north-central part of the island of Galen. The tranquil ambiance of the arboretum was complemented by the gentle sound of a waterfall, harmonizing with the soft melody of the wind as it whispered through the towering trees. Carved stone shelters offered cozy living quarters, each opening onto breathtaking vistas. The flora surrounding the settlement exhibited a rich diversity, featuring plants such as daylily, gorse, begonia, dogwood, beech, and fern.[1][2]

HistoryEdit

Gladesong Arboretum

Little is known of the past of Gladesong Arboretum. It was founded at some point after the arrival of the Druids of Galen to the Systres Archipelago around 1E 330,[3] and abandoned at some point before 2E 582. The precise timeframe of the area's habitation remained unknown, as did the identity of the druidic circle that once inhabited it. However, the remaining furnishings bore the hallmarks of Firesong Circle's craftsmanship, including their distinctive chandeliers.[1][2]

Circa 2E 582, the Gladesong Arboretum was still abandoned and available for purchase as a private residence. At that time, one of the entryway points led through the portal situated beneath an ancient stone carving. The settlement was comprised of several huts and chambers, each bearing distinct names evoking the natural beauty surrounding them. Among them were the Blossomdeep Chamber, the Cloud Drift Suite, the Mistview Chamber, the Mossgloam Chamber, the Oakwhisper Lodgings, and the Treeshade Chamber.[1]
