House Branquette was a Breton noble house and royal dynasty located in the region of Rivenspire in High Rock.
The house would lend many rulers to the Kingdom's throne. One of which would be Hurlburt Branquette, twenty-first count of the name. He would be regarded by some as the greatest post-Reman monarch of Shornhelm. one of his sons, Ranser, would eventually be in line for the throne. The Council of the North, of which Branquette was a part would support him in his endeavor. This would lead to Ranser being crowned the twenty-second ruler of the Branquette line.
He would eventually begin the conflict known as Ranser's War and would not survive it. Ranser's death would spell the end for the Branquette line and the house overall. It's domain in Rivenspire would be parceled out to houses Tamrith and Dorell.[1]
