Kulati Mines

Kulati, also known as Kulati Mines was a mine and one of the places in the province of Hammerfell that was known for its amethysts.[1] It was named alongside Dak'fron and Zareth M'Kai as one of the most notable areas of amethyst mining in the province.[2]

HistoryEdit

In 2E 582, during the Interregnum the mines were overrun by spiders and Spider Daedra.[3][4] A group of the miners who arrived from Wayrest was killed by the arachnids, with only one survivor remaining. He later abandoned the mines and sought a better future in Sentinel.[5]. An adventurer was hired by the mine foreman Kasal to find the people who remained in the mine after he closed the operation down. The last miner inside was a Redguard Seqbar, who was followed by a concerned betrothed Shagora.[4][6] The adventurer ventured to the mines and discovered the daedric influence inside the amethyst mine. They found the lost miner and his beloved, but it unknown whether they managed to rescue the miner, his partner or failed at the mission and left both inside the mines,[7][8][9] in the clutches of Spider Daedra Naluroen, who woven an illusion to entrap them inside.[10]

Due to the Dragon's return to Elsweyr in the same year, recruits of the Khajiit forces were trained in various areas of Tamriel. The adventurer was tasked to train some of the soldiers in Kulati Mines.[11][12]
