The Padomaic Crest (or Central Highlands)[1][UOL 1] is a coastal region in east-central Morrowind,[2] presently within the Indoril District.[3] It borders the region of Fungal Lowlands to the west, and the region of Deshaan to the south. The region is home to the city of Necrom, as well as the isle of Gorne found off the coast. The Dres town of Alavelis is located along the south near a volcano, and is home to a glass mine.[2]
The high uplands and treacherous cliff coastline gives way to craggy rocks along the Padomaic Ocean.[4][5][6] Topal the Pilot described seeing large "bat-lizards" in the area, which are believed to be the ancestors of modern Cliff Racers.[5] Tiny tribes of ogres and trolls also patrol the highlands.[1]
