Saint Rilms the Barefooted (also spelled Rilm)[1][2][3] is the Dunmeri patron saint of Pilgrims and Beggars. Saint Rilms was a rich noble who gave away her shoes, then dressed and appeared as a beggar to better acquaint herself with the poor.[4][5] Rilms was later canonized by the Tribunal, and shrines to her could be found in Tribunal temples. Her shoes are now a prized relic of the Tribunal Temple.[6]
All Temple shrine offerings grant cures of common diseases, of blight diseases, and of afflictions of poison. Offerings made to the shrine of Saint Rilms additionally grant Rilm's Grace, for endurance of hardships.[7][3] Additionally, various restoration spells named after Rilms were known to be used and sold by healers of Vvardenfell.[1][2]
In 3E 427 a priest of the temple dreamt that the Shoes of St. Rilms were lying neglected in a shrine to Mehrunes Dagon in Ald Sotha. The shoes were subsequently recovered from there for the Temple by the Nerevarine.[6]
During the Ordinator vestment routine, initiates recite a prayer to St. Rilms as they help don the ordinator their sabatons and greaves.[8]
The popular Blue Book of Riddles was written by scholars of Saint Rilms.
