Lore:Runic Alphabet

The Runic Alphabet is a set of strokes representing individual syllables found on runestones used for enchanting. They are used by the mysterious rune-language inscribed upon these magical runes.

Each stroke contains 1 or more lines and is associated with a single syllable in the rune's name. The strokes most often overlap, and are usually shown in order from left to right, though there are certain exceptions. Notably, the Ma and Ra strokes, being closer to horizontal, are usually the last syllable despite their position in the rune.

1Both of the syllables on the Meip rune appear nowhere else, so it's possible that these strokes are incorrect, since there is nothing else to compare them to.
