Timberclaw Clan was one of numerous clans of Reachfolk that lived in the city of Markarth in the Reach during the Second Era.[1] They were known to favor and breed Druadach Mountain Dogs. Those loyal animals were bred to withstand the harsh winters in the Druadach Mountains and showed deep tenderness to their clan or family members while protecting their territory with ferocity.[2]
HistoryEdit
In 2E 582, the Gray Host descended onto the Reach to search for an ancient artifact of great power. Many of the Reachfolk clans stayed in Markarth at the behest of Ard Caddach.[3][4] The Timberclaw Clan were among the clans that inhabited the City of Stone.[1]
At some point, they entered the conflict with the Starsinger Clan, but as of 2E 582 they made full peace. However, their footing with the Skyweaver Clan became more uncertain. Those conflicts and alliances were recorded by one of the city administrators.[1]
