The Wand of Fowlfire is a wand artifact and a sacred relic of Baan Dar. It serves as a ceremonial tool reserved for special occasions. With its ability to emit powerful roasting effects, its primary purpose is to cook food for grand feasts in the god's honor. However, its misuse has tragically resulted in the deaths of some followers who failed to point the far end of the wand away from themselves. Despite these risks, it is renowned for its ability to perfectly cook chickens.[1][2][3] Chickens subjected to the effects of the artifact were magically baked, transforming into delicious magically baked chicken meals.[3][4][5]
HistoryEdit
The precise origins of the Wand of Fowlfire remain unknown, yet before 2E 582, it had been already utilized on numerous occasions, its misuse resulting in the deaths of several adherents of Baan Dar.[2]
In 2E 582, Aniel, a daughter of Baan Dar, temporarily entrusted the artifact to an adventurer who aided in organizing a grand revelry in the god's honor within the realm of the Five Finger Dance during the annual ceremony of the Boast. They then proceeded to prepare the meal using chickens native to the realm.[2][3][6]
