The Court of Contempt

The Court of Contempt is a Daedric ruin in Coldharbour, northeast of the Hollow City.

It is the domain of Judge Xiven and his minions. From here, Judge Xiven conducts "trials" and hands out punishment to mortals brought into Coldharbour, in the name of Molag Bal.

A book titled Protocols of the Court of Contempt details the court's protocols. You'll find a Betty Netch floating lazily around the western exterior of the court, along the side of the path that leads north towards the Cliffs of Failure. A chest can spawn beneath the roots of an ancient tree located south of the wayshrine, near a black metal structure.

There are three towers in the primary courtyard: one lies to the southwest, another to the northwest, and the third in the southeast. The skyshard lies outside a broken section of wall located south of the southwestern tower. There's a water skin atop the southwestern tower. A handbill is sitting on a table on the ground floor of the southeastern tower.

The Court of Contempt Wayshrine is located to the northwest of the ruin, on the road which leads to the Cliffs of Failure. The Cart of Contempt, a guild trader kiosk run by Harzdak, is situated at the foot of the Wayshrine.

The exterior region of the Court of Contempt. The courtyard is patrolled by many Daedra. A heavy crate can be found in the center southern portion of the ruins. A Reminder from the Judge can be found in the southern ruins. After the quest, friendly Flame Atronachs distract the Daedra patrolling the area.
