Erene Githrano is a Dark Elf who can be found in the top left unfinished canton in Vivec City. He has no unique dialogue, but can be seen being helped by Zalkir. After the quest is completed, he can be found on the canton again, being tended to by Varona Beloren.
He later plays an indirect role in the quest, Divine Disaster.
