Quest-Related EventsEdit

Once in the main room of the tower, you will notice two things. A strange ball on energy hovering above the room and that Kovan Giryon is waiting for you:

Kovan Giryon: "Scourge! I've waited a lifetime for you."
Saresea: "Draw the guardian's ire so I can contain the distortion."
Kovan Giryon: "Your rampage ends now!"

Many glowing alternate time variants of Kovan will be found in the room, and will walk to the middle to merge with Kovan. During combat:

Kovan Giryon: "Time weaves all around us."
Kovan Giryon: "Creatures of the past obey my will!"
Kovan Giryon: "Do you see now? My power has no limit."
Kovan Giryon: "Too fast!"
Kovan Giryon: "Time is so fragile."
Kovan Giryon: "So easy to shred!"
Kovan Giryon: "Your future arrives early!"
Kovan Giryon: "Now you see how I control your fate."
Kovan Giryon: "Do you feel adrift?"
Kovan Giryon: "I exist in all of time!"
Kovan Giryon: "Over here!"

While you fight Kovan, Saresea will attempt to unravel the distortion. However, once the fight is concluded, the following happens:

Kovan Giryon: "How? I didn't see my end."

Kovan dies.

Saresea: "The threads are too many. The knot is too tight. I can't …."
<Your vision goes black.>
