- "Only the Stars know for sure. The dig was going well enough—until the spirits appeared."
- So the spirits weren't here when you arrived?
- "Oh, no. I can only assume our poking around roused them. They must be working to protect the Mallari-Mora."
- What is the Mallari-Mora?
- "I'm not sure. Some sort of artifact, certainly. It was used by an overzealous cult leader to end his life—and the lives of dozens of others.
The spirits we struggle against today are theirs, no doubt."
After completing The Mallari-Mora, he'll say:
