Zirani

Zirani is a Khajiit Soul-Shriven who can be found inside the Townhall of ruined Khaj'yahai in the Village of the Lost. In life she was the mayor of the village until it suddenly flooded and was dragged into the border plane. Afterwards, Zirani became a slave of Taskmaster Uldun.

Once she has been rescued, she can later be found in the Hollow City.

When you first find her, she can be found praying at the remnants of a shrine.

"Taskmaster is angry. Taskmaster hates this Khajiit.
But Taskmaster hates this Khajiit talking to others even more. Go away, or this one will suffer."

Suronii sent me. She has what she needs to get you out of here. Just meet her at the overlook.

"This one cannot leave, on threat of endless death from Taskmaster upstairs.
You are mad to come here—they have not taken you. You should flee while you can."

[Persuade] Suronii has a fool-proof plan to get out of here. Get to the Overseer's overlook. You can make it.

"This one … wants to believe you.
Very well. I will meet you at the Overseer's overlook. Just don't tell the Taskmaster."

If you didn't convince Zirani to leave, you will need to go upstairs and kill Taskmaster Uldun. If you speak with her before doing so, she will say:

"This one knows you mean well even as you keep pestering her. You must, to risk your life to come here.
But she has already told you. This one refuses to leave. Taskmaster is watching."

When the Taskmaster is dead, you can return to Zirani.

"You've returned, and this one heard fighting.
Could … Taskmaster be dead?"

The Taskmaster is dead.

"Huh. That is … surprising.
This one always thought that any who would challenge Taskmaster would be five kinds of dead. This one … supposes she can stop working, now. Zirani will go to the overlook. You should come with us."

She will then run out of the building.

When you arrive at the overlook, Zirani will be there with Suronii and Ugorz.

"Stranger is good to this one, and to others. Now Khajiit has to do her part."
