A list of places found in the Stirk Isle Region.

  • Land's End Grotto - a medium sized grotto on the western shore of the island. Filled with rats, crabs and fish on lower player levels, and wolves, bears, dreugh and lamia on higher levels. Judging by the candles and a food barrel, it could be used by the island's fishermen. There is a treasure chest, a skeleton, and kollops to be found here.
  • Wormusoel - an Ayleid ruin.
  • Chaerraich Barrow - a small Colovian barrow where you could meet two undead and a daedra. There are wooden coffins and bones on the shelves. Offerings include armour, magic scrolls, potions, First Empire coins, clothes, a dagger. The barrow is decorated with candles, clay jars, bronze vessels, flasks, and an old rotten rug.
  • Kingfisher Cave - a medium goblin den on the north eastern slope of Stirk mountain. It starts with a pen containing 3 man-eater rats. Goblins of various sorts (except shamans) will meet you throughout the cave. Cairn Bolete and Wisp Stalks are the fungi types you'll find here. There are many campfires with roasted fish and other food supplies in the cave rooms. A dead body with some equipment lies on a ledge that's impossible to reach without magic or extraordinary Acrobatics skill. Chieftain's room has hoards of stolen goods with minor loot. There are three rooms with pools of water where the goblins catch their fish. One such pool contains a skeleton with a dwarven spear and some jewels on him. Another pool has slaughterfish swimming in it. There are 3 diamond veins in the underwater sections, and a piece of adamantine ore laying in the deep room underwater. You can find a pickaxe in the cave. Enemies are a blend of leveled lists, individual goblins, a goblin chief, and individual rats. One rat is dead beside a campfire.
  • Helvor Family Crypt - the Helvors are the Colovian nobles ruling Stirk through generations. But their riches have waned and their power on the island is weak. This medium crypt's entrance could be found north east of town and is preceded by a grid of gravestones surrounded by a stone fence. The crypt is lit with burning candles, torches, lampstands and incense burners. Clutter includes: crates, sacks, chests, urns, and barrels with weapons, armor, ingredients, coins, thief tools, torches, and potions. Burial niches are adorned with weapons, armor, ingredients, books ("The Legendary City Sancre Tor" and "The Siege of Kvatch"), pottery, a silver plate, wine, magick scrolls, lock picks, and clothes. The bodies are either interred in coffins (closed rich and open plain variants), or piled as separate bones, skeletons and bonemeal. The enemies are represented by leveled list creatures - 2 x T_Cyr_Lvl_Ghosts+0 and T_Cyr_Lvl_Ghosts+2 - and fixed red-colored ghosts - T_Cyr_Und_Ghst_01 and T_Cyr_Und_Ghst_02. There is a minor cave-in in the south western corner that opens the wall into an inaccessible cave pocket with cairn bolete mushrooms. You can find a single golden Ayleid coin and a Common Soul Gem in some niches. Tapestries include the imperial red dragon, the blue bird of Stirk, and the bird of Kynareth. The corridors are ligned up with cobweb and mist. Ghost sounds and cave wind create the ambience. There is a sack of moon sugar in one of the coffins, which, together with overabundance of lockpicks, hints at the presence of smugglers in this underground. The second interior of the crypt (Helvor Crypt, Passage) ends with a wide, partially collapsed room, filled with coffins, crates, tools, equipment, bottles, coal, and 2 more ghosts (T_Cyr_Und_Ghst_01 and T_Cyr_Lvl_Ghosts-1). It then goes on through a broken wall into a cave with wisp stalks and cairn boletes. A ledge, accessible only with levitation or high jump reveals a secret cave door, leading further under the mountain and to Wormusoel on the northern side of Stirk. The shape of the main crypt mini-map resembles the letters ZXT, which corresponds to the nickname of an old Project Tamriel developer.
  • Vabriasel - an Ayleid ruin.
  • Val Ansvech Barrow - a small (but bigger than the other one) Colovian barrow on the western slope of the Stirk mountain. Quest related. It contains Pelladia Ancestral Dagger and Pelladia Ancestral Blood Relic, which the noble with the same name in Stirk town asks you to collect for her. There's also a generic Colovian relic (skeleton hand embellished with gold) with the cost of 70. One of the deeper rooms is partially collapsed and has Wisp Stalks growing on the dirt pile. The barrow is cluttered with coffins, clay jars, chests of various sizes, ingredients, potions, armor pieces, weapons, skeletons, candles, old vessels, embalming tools, a master's repair hammer, and a stone plaque with unreadable inscriptions. Sound_Haunted00 is placed 4 times. Four undead enemies await the player here. When you exit the tomb with the relics during the quest, you are forcegreeted by a Breton mercenary, PC_q1_Str05_Vilter, who will try to get Pelladia relics from you on behalf of some Bernado, as per PC_q1_Str05_Note in his pocket.
