Meeting the GhostEdit
Inside Loth' Na Caverns, you will find a ghost that is not hostile. Speak to it and it will tell you that it is the ghost of a pilgrim who came here to visit the Crystal here. His group however were slaughtered by General Duvais.
Got no BodyEdit
The Pilgrim Ghost will explain that it is seeking eternal rest, for which he needs the Ring given to him by his beloved. He knows the ring is on his body, which he will give you directions too:
- "Skyrim… killed us, all of us, yet we are still bound to this place."
- Us?
- "We were simple pilgrims, here to seek answers from the divine crystal. They came, corrupted the crystal for their own purposes.
And they killed us.
I need final rest, as do my companions. Will you help us?" - I am on it.
- "My beloved gave me a ring to bring me luck on my journey. It is on my body, which lies north and a little west of here.
But first, you must destroy the desecrated crystal. They use it to fortify themselves.
With it they might be too powerful to defeat. The crystal lies in the northeasternmost part of this cavern." - Okay.
Crystal ChamberEdit
The body you seek is near the Desecrated Crystal Chamber, at the far northeastern section of the Caverns. The Caverns are inhabited not only by the Skyrim Raiders, but also Goblins, Snow Wolves, Poisonous Floaters and Daedra Hungers. Find the Pilgrims body and loot the Ghostly Ring from it.
ReturningEdit
Return to the Entrance and give the Ghostly Ring to the Ghostly Pilgrim to receive his next quest:
- (The pilgrim ghost moans slightly at the sight of the ring)
- "The pain... is the right sort... I am grateful."
- (The pilgrim sways back and forth, lost in thought.)
NotesEdit
- The Pilgrim Ghost will advise you to destroy the desecrated crystal, by which he means the Fortifying Crystal. Apparently destroying it should make the forces of Skyrim easier to defeat.
