Arlo Ajaxus is an Imperial warrior and a Red Dome Templar. His erratic (and drunken) behavior, in addition to his templar affiliation, have seemingly seen him pushed to Nivalis, where he is firmly out of the way. This is a situation that Firewatch's legion commander Thromil Rufus objects to, and he will order you to persuade Arlo to come to Firewatch during the events of The Templar's Trifles. Arlo will agree but will want you to prove your martial valor first.
When not engaging his warrior spirit, Arlo appears to drink—and drink heavily. He especially hankers after a special alcohol associated with Tiber Septim, named incarnadine. In the quest Just a Sip, he will ask you to retrieve a sample from the vaults of Ember Keep.
