Vyr-Moran Lookout is a small Hlaalu tower near Oran Plantation, meant to watch the Thirr River and surrounds for escaped slaves.
One of five lookouts guarding the western bank of the section of the Thirr River between Almas Thirr and Old Ebonheart. While the stated purpose of the tower is to maintain control over the vast Hlaalu plantations on the western bank of the Thirr, other military applications seem likely. The river is a source of tension for both Great House Hlaalu and Great House Indoril, with much of the lands that these towers now guard having once been governed by the Indoril Llathsa, from their seat in nearby Tur Julan.
The commander of the lookout, Sover Dothril, is not entirely attentive to his duties. During Smugglers in Yadamsi, it becomes clear that he is not only neglecting to stop the smuggling going on under his nose, but is actually taking a cut.

- Vyr-Moran is the second of the five lookout towers in Aanthirin if journeying from the south, and is directly east-southeast of Oran Plantation.
