Detritus is a demiplane of Oblivion ruled by Hollowjack. It is a realm filled with untold horrors befitting the Fear Lord.
GeographyEdit
Detritus is a well-partitioned plane, as its name might suggest. Detritans call their major regions "cumuli." One cumulus is distinct from another if travel between them would require a feat of magic. Though there may be infinitely many cumuli, there are finitely many that are suitably-sized for population.
In each cumulus, there is one or more "ort," which may be thought of like islands. Orts within one cumulus may be traversable by ordinary individuals, but more often than not, the connections are tenuous and treacherous. Making matters more complicated is the slua, which fills the void between and beyond the orts of the known cumuli.
Detritus also features an exceptional array of non-elementary geometries. Depending on the cumulus and ort, space itself may seem to be warped in places, seeming too confined or too expansive. It may require more or fewer right turns to return to an initial position. Straight paths may loop together in unexpected ways. The effect can be quite pronounced, sometimes even causing nausea by mere perception.

The Strange is a forested cumulus and possibly the largest cumulus of Detritus. It features a hyperbolic geometry to moderate effect, making the space feel more vast and harder to traverse than it might appear.
The Strange is home to Pooka.
PenanceEdit
Penance is an inhospitable cumulus full of daedra and misery. It features a subtle toroidal geometry and has only one ort.
The EstateEdit
The Estate is a claustrophobic series of rooms. The spacial geometry in the Estate is pronounced and chaotic, which contributes to its infuriatingly labyrinthine layout. It is unknown if there is more than one ort in the Estate, though there certainly are doors which open into the slua, through some of which another door can be seen. It is possible that such cases are separations between orts or something like a strait between masses of the same ort.
Slurryrot BogEdit
Slurryrot Bog is a cumulus of bogs, swamps, and mires. It features primarily a pronounced cylindrical geometry with the occasional anomaly dividing it into many orts.
The Amusement FaireEdit
The Amusement Fair is a small cumulus of only one ort with an unending carnival. It features pronounced spherical geometry.
The Zheken HumustraEdit
The Zheken Humustra are a cumulus of graveyards, tombs, and crypts. Each of its orts is quite small, but there are many of them, possibly more than any other cumulus. It features a nearly elementary spacial geometry.
The IncarceratoriumEdit
The Incarceratorium is a cumulus of prisons and asylums. It features an elementary spacial geometry with some major anomalies.
The AbjurationEdit
Every year, during the Witches Festival, portals to Nirn open, spreading forth Detritan miscellany.
