I have granted you an audience out of respect, but you must leave my palace immedialtely. Take this, and may Talos watch over you." The High King gives you a sack of Septims. "Find a place to hide. A storm is coming your way".

Chapter 2Edit

The Blades find themselves targeted by a dark conspiracy across Skyrim, led by a Khajiit named Moivva Karnai. The Great War ends, and the Thalmor gain access to the province, putting the Blade's lives in jeopardy.

The war is over. The Emperor signs the White-Gold Concordat, banning the worship of Talos across Tamriel, and disbanding the Blades. Meanwhile, in Skyrim, Ulfric Stormcloak marches with his militia towards Markarth, set on defeating King Madanach of the Reachman. THe Jarl of Markarth has promised Ulfric to make the Stronghold a safe haven for Talos worshippers in Skyrim if he succeeds. The Blades will need to find allies in different parts of Skyrim if they want to survive.

The Reachmen:

King Madanach of Markarth receives me at Understone Keep, and listens to my plight. He offers his support, under one condition: I have to help his bard Azzadal perform his poetic leap.

I tell Madanach of the gruesome fate of his bard, and he just laughs it off. "That's the destiny he wanted. Good going, Azzadal!" He warns me about my colleagues. "I've heard that someone in your organisation is talking to the Thalmor. If you want to save your neck, you'd better find the rat, soon."

"You are dealing with forces you cannot comprehend. Our lady Mephala is protecting us. Leave now and maybe you will live to see next winter." They don't really leave me much of a choice. After defeating the Reachmen. "I'm impressed. Seems some of our blood must be flowing in your veins." "Maybe you can help get rid of MOivva, if this is Mephala's bidding." The Reachman brings me a map. A manor house in Haafingar is marked there. "This pendant signifies you're with us. Moivva won't suspect you."

Rorikstead: THe village of Rorikstead is barely a couple of huts in a muddy field. Mark my words: one day, this will be a big stronghold. Bigger than Whiterun." I ask Rorik about Moivva, and he seems to remember her. "Help me make my town great, and I'll help you find your Khajiit."

The village of Rorikstead needs workers. They are building new houses everywhere, and my help will be appreciate. In exchange, they can give me valuable information about Moivva, who's been staying there recently. Your work will endure the test of time. The people of Rorikstead are grateful. Rorik walks with me through his town. He has big plans for Rorikstead, but I see sadness in his eyes. He will never recover from the horrors of war.

"I've made some research on your Daedric Prince. She's no other than Mephala. Use the artifact to face her in her own realm. Good luck." Entering an Oblivion plane? Is that a wise plan?

The portal in front of me sparkles with energy. It pulls me in. The landscape looks loddly familiar and reassuringly distored at the same time. The effect is haunting. The only sound is my footsteps. A figure emerges from the mist. It's me. "You are an impostor and a weakling. You will stay here. Forever. I will take your place in your world, don't worry." I charge through my double and fall. When I open my eyes, everythign is back to normal.
