A bard (or skald) is a musician, historian, and educator that uses stories of Skyrim's notable people to entertain and inspire others. Several of the characters in Skyrim are self professed bards, some of whom actually trained at the Bard's College in Solitude. Not all of the Bards of Skyrim actually do Bardic Performances however. The player may themselves become a bard by attending the college.
