Play dirty, get away clean. The life of a thief can be as lucrative as it is thrilling, especially as a member of the infamous Thieves Guild. For the first time in The Elder Scrolls Online, join the Thieves Guild and be swept up in a whirlwind of mischief, subterfuge, and of course, plenty of pilfering. We've got all the must-know Thieves Guild DLC game pack details for you, including features, pricing, release dates, and more.

Thieves Guild, the first official DLC game pack of 2016 for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, will be available on the ESO PTS (Public Test Server) next week and launches on PC/Mac on March 7th, Xbox One on March 22nd, and PlayStation®4 on March 23rd. The Thieves Guild DLC game pack—complete with a new Thieves Guild passive skill line, new Justice gameplay, hours of new story content and more—will be accessible at no cost to those who have an active ESO Plus™ membership. Otherwise, it will cost 2,000 crowns in the ESO Crown Store. The base-game patch, always free to those who own ESO, is chock-full of new features and enhancements including a 64-bit client for PC and Mac, scrolling combat text, grouping improvements and incentives, and tons of combat and gameplay balance changes. We encourage all our PC and Mac players to join us on the PTS for Thieves Guild testing!

Set in a desert peninsula called Hew's Bane, the Thieves Guild DLC game pack brings you to Hammerfell locations never before seen in an Elder Scrolls game. Abah's Landing, the opulent jewel of Hew's Bane, is not only one of the most elaborate cities in The Elder Scroll Online, it's also home to the Thieves Guild. Be ever aware of your surroundings while in Abah's Landing—the network of back alleys, narrow catwalks, and secluded alcoves hide more than a few secrets.

Reaching Hew's Bane & Abah's Landing on the PTSEdit

For those of you joining us on the ESO PTS, you can get to Hew's Bane and Abah's Landing in a few simple steps.

Using a Thieves Guild Template Character If you plan to use a pre-made template character on the PTS, please choose from the Thieves Guild-specific ones.

1.While on the character creation screen, click on the drop-down in the upper-left corner of your screen.

2.Select one of the three Thieves Guild character templates—there is a VR16 one for each alliance.

3.When you enter the game on at VR16 template character, you will be in Daggerfall, Davon's Watch, or Vulkhel Guard, depending on your alliance. The level 49 characters begin in front of the Harborage.

4.Purchase the Thieves Guild DLC game pack from the Crown Store. (Both template characters and those copied over from the live megaservers will have enough crowns to buy the DLC game pack.) We also recommend buying bag space upgrades in the Crown Store.

5.After you purchase the Thieves Guild DLC game pack, enter any Outlaws Refuge and approach a thief by the name of Quen. Speak to her to begin the "Partners in Crime" quest.

6.Progress through the events of the "Partners in Crime" questline—they will lead you to Abah's Landing.

Using a Non-Template or Copied Character

1.First, create a character on the ESO PTS and purchase the Thieves Guild DLC game pack from the Crown Store. (Both template characters and those copied over from the live megaservers will have enough crowns to buy the DLC game pack.)

2.After you purchase the Thieves Guild DLC game pack, enter any Outlaws Refuge and approach a thief by the name of Quen. Speak to her to begin the "Partners in Crime" quest.

3.Progress through the events of the "Partners in Crime" questline—they will lead you to Abah's Landing.

Manually Entering Hew's Bane or Abah's Landing

After you purchase the Thieves Guild DLC game pack, you can also use the Wayshrine network to fast travel to Hew's Bane and Abah's Landing. Quen, the Thieves Guild main quest bestower, will be waiting for you at the Wayshrine.
