OverviewEdit

The graphics replacers listed here will radically change your gaming experience: architecture, terrain, trees, sky -- all will look sharper and provide a subtly (or not subtly) different flavor to the world.

Listed here are both collection packs (listed at top) and individual packs (listed by creator). Generally speaking, you can use one collection, and multiple packs by individual authors. (Since collections are fairly complete, trying to use two collections will usually result in the last one entirely or almost entirely replacing the previously applied collections.)

Most of these packs are purely texture packs -- meaning that they're applied by simply by copying their files into Morrowind's Meshes and Textures directories. Other packs are esp based -- meaning that you have to copy their files to the Data Files directory and then add their esp to your load list. Note that pure texture packs can now be managed with Wrye Mash's Replacer Manager feature, which automates the process of copying (and removing) textures packs -- thus making it easy to both test and switch between different texture packs.

CollectionsEdit

These packs are collections of individual replacer packs. Each aims for a fairly consistent and complete experience. Because they're fairly complete, it typically makes sense to only use one of these, but you may want to layer individual replacer packs (listed below by author) over them.

The best way to compare these is through ThePal's Texture Pack Comparison table. The table consists of representative screenshots of each of the texture packs in different areas of the world (e.g., Bitter Coast swamps, Telvanni towers, Vivec cantons, etc.) along with FPS measurements for each.

Imperial Castle (Fantasy Castle)
The textures in this pack are the finished version of Korana's preschool students' ideas. They were designed for them, not to blend in with the rest of the world! They are wonderfully bright, busy, gold and white marble buildings, with red and white marble floors (even in the exterior...it's what they wanted!).

Lady RaeEdit

Redoran
This is a simple little plug-in that replaces Redoran textures with ones I've more or less done myself. Major credit for this goes to skydye. Most all of the textures used are either from his Vibrant Morrowind or from one of his two recently released Seamless Texture Packs. Credit also needs to be given to Morrowind Visual Pack by Zuldazug, Raptre, Lord Gabryael and Ayse. All I've done is to alter some colors so that they'd all (hopefully) match each other.

LeelooEdit

Home Page: Bella Donna Designs

Changing Faces (NPC Replacer)
This mod changes nearly every single NPC in Morrowind, Tribunal and Bloodmoon with a new head and hair while giving the player a near endless supply of heads and hair to choose from at start-up as well. Obviously, it requires the Tribunal and Bloodmoon expansions.

Changing Faces Official Add-on (NPC Replacer)
The sixth house cultists have all been changed to feature new and horror inspired heads, the vamps now all have original heads well as many original heads that have been released for vamps out there. Also Almalexia my fave mad god queen has been given a make-over courtesy of Pozzo's godking stock mod. Than I have created a new head, hair, upper body, retextured her, sharpened her and repainted her to make her more the exotic warrior queen that in my opinion she should be! But I've also added the stock Beth Almalexia for those of you whom don't like the vibrant queen.

Leeloo's Eyecandy Replacer for Morrowind
This mod will replace the sun, moon and stars above, the haalu buildings, the daedra, redoran, the gold, and even the tapestries and many other items. I must warn you it's bright and colorful, which I adore and morrocan and egyptian inspired made from actual morrocan and egyptian tiles, and real aztec gold as my replacer some of you may recognize the gold.
I realize this texture replacer won't be for everyones taste. and it's definately not for the lore purists out there but I made this for myself and if some people also love it like I do then great! Some of the items have a hand-painted look by me and are quite vibrant of course because they're based on real ground photographs.

Misty MoonEdit

Ashlands (Better Looking Morrowind)
Better Looking Morrowind changes all by converting the landscape of the Ashland's, Molag Amur, and Red Mountain into green heaven of trees and grass. No longer a endless gray and black terrain, broken only by the occasional pool of molten lava. Also all of the trees and tree-like objects in Vvardenfell have been replaced with better models, with the exception of the tree models in Bitter Coast. Also includes Misty Moon's Morrowind Retextured pack: better sign's, banner's, tapestry, land, items, ingredients, flora, silt strider, books weapons and a lot more with enhanced/re-textured, sharper and some new textures. And, smaller red crosshair, and Daedric/English menu text.

Evil Daedric Model / Texture Replacer
(Dead download link)
There's only a handful of unique textures applied to the original Bethesda set of daedric models. So in order to add more variety to the mix, I retextured the models with a larger selection of textures, and created an esp that replaces the originals with my new versions. That means this replacer is activated via esp and will not overwrite anything. This mod will make the Daedric ruins look more evil, like a black stain blighting the landscape. I am quite proud of how they turned out, I can think of no better textures for the Daedric architecture.

Imperial (Model Replacer)

This mod is much like a texture replacer, but instead it replaces the actual Imperial architectural models in the game with new retextured versions.

Telvanni
This is my personal favorite of all of my texture replacers. I always thought that Bethesda's gaudy Telvanni textures with more subdued colors. My goal was to make the places more tree-like and less fungus-y, and I think I was successful. These textures are high-resolution.

Velothi
Cities like Vivec, and the many tombs scattered around Vvardenfell will have a whole new look, but won't look out of place. They look old and worn not shiny and new. These textures are high-resolution so expect more detail than the originals.
