Thieves Den is an official download for Oblivion that adds a new player home, the secluded pirate hideout known as Dunbarrow Cove. The cove boasts several unique features; vendors who stock weapons, potions and spells to aid Stealth-oriented characters, a Fence who will purchase stolen items, trainers to raise the Security, Sneak, Speechcraft, Marksman and Mercantile skills, pirates who can be recruited and sent out to pillage and plunder, and an unopenable training chest to raise the Security skill.
The download also introduces Dahlia Rackham, who sells upgrades for the cove. She can be found on board The Sea Tub Clarabella docked in Anvil's port. A number of additional characters are recruited by purchasing upgrades. When all upgrades for the hideout have been purchased, a chest containing the Smuggler's Key will appear in the Captain's Quarters. The key opens a door connecting the Smuggler's Cave to a secret chamber in Anvil Castle.
