Amarius and Alenion in the newly-discovered ruin

Quick WalkthroughEdit

  1. Talk to Amarius Eulius.
  2. Perform the tasks he asks of you.
  3. Return to Amarius once more.

Detailed WalkthroughEdit

Eager ExplorerEdit

Once the two brothers have arrived in Vassa, Amarius will approach you and ask a favor. His unplanned trip to the ruin has caused him to be a little unprepared and he would like you to take care of four things he needs.

Explorer's LogEdit

The first thing he needs is his logbook so he can record his findings. The book is in his shop, and he gives you the key so you can enter. It is hidden on top of a bookshelf in the upstairs bedroom.

Locked Up TightEdit

The second thing is to lock his shop with the key he gives; to protect the stock. Once you have retrieved the diary, simply head back outside and then activate the shop's door as if you are trying to enter.

Crying UncleEdit

Thirdly, Amarius wants you to tell his uncle Cassyndrian that his nephews are alive and well. Cassyndrian can usually be found in Eulius Manor, although he also spends time at the bookshop and prays in the chapel at weekends. It turns out he wasn't worried in any case, as Amarius has been doing the whole dungeon-crawl thing since he got his first knife. Still, he appreciates the update as he had been wondering where his nephews were.

Hunting PostponedEdit

Lastly, Amarius tells you that he and Jafan had been planning a trip that will now have to be postponed. Jafan can be found on board his ship, and is disappointed by the news, although he is glad that he will have more time to work out how to tell Aria that they are going goblin-hunting.

What Did Your Last Slave Die Of?Edit

When all four tasks have been done, return to Amarius who will thank you and give you a Ring of Light as a reward.

Stage Finishes Quest Journal Entry
5
10 Amarius Eulius has asked me to run a few errands for him on the surface while he studies the ruin. He wants me to retrieve his logbook, lock up the bookstore, tell Jafan that he'll have to reschedule his voyage, and tell his uncle, Cassyndrian, that he and his brother are safe.
20 I have found Amarius Eulius's logbook. I should bring it to him when I finish all of the other errands he's set for me.
30 I told Cassyndrian Eulius that his nephews were well. He didn't seem too concerned, but thanked me for the update.
40 I told Jafan that Amarius Eulius would like to postpone his trip. He seemed a bit disappointed, but thanked me for delivering the message.
50 I have locked the Eulius bookstore as Amarius asked.
60 I realized I still had things to do inside the bookstore. I should remember to lock it again on my way out.
70 I have completed all of the tasks Amarius Eulius sent me to do. I should tell him so.
80 Finishes quest  Amarius Eulius thanked me for completing some errands for him.
Notes
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
  • If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
  •   It is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering setstage Tr07q006UBErrands stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
