Detailed WalkthroughEdit
Lonesome TonightEdit
Morihatha Stirk can often be found walking the length of Stirk's beach and upon talking to her, the reason becomes clear. She is looking for word of the Kintyra II, a ship that was supposed to be bringing her father, Cassius Stirk III and her boyfriend, Jean Ciscotte, back to Stirk from Wayrest in High Rock. The ship is more than a week overdue, so Morihatha is deeply worried about the two men. She has enquired at the lighthouse so often that Julia Basilla will no longer speak to her, and so would like you to try to discover more on her behalf.
Private InvestigationsEdit
Depending upon the state of the Julia Basilla's Bruises quest, Julia may not talk to you. If this is the case, Morihatha will direct you to the island's beggar, Alden the Wanderer instead. Either person will tell you that they don't know anything about the ship themselves, but that a woman named Helga was washed up a few days ago. They suggest that you try talking to her.
Easy LoverEdit
It turns out that Helga has been imprisoned for prostitution. She refuses to help you unless she is released. This triggers the sub-quest Helga's Fine, and details on completing this step can be found on that page.
Down, Down, Deeper and DownEdit
Helga recalls seeing two men being taken onto a small craft crewed by goblins. The only goblin lair on the island is Broken Fang Cave, so the next step is to investigate it. The cave is located on the northwestern shore of the island, and a handy path leads around to it from the docks. In the lowest level you will find the corpse of Cassius Stirk and, locked in a cage, Jean Ciscotte.
Homeward BoundEdit
Free Jean from his cage and lead him back to Stirk Manor. Morihatha will reward you with 200 gold.
NotesEdit
- The title of this quest is inspired by The Ballad of John and Yoko, a 1969 song by the Beatles.
- If Jean dies, Morihatha is understandably upset but still rewards you with 80 gold.
- If you just give up and tell Morihatha you couldn't find Jean, she will still give you 60 gold.
