- "Zenithar forbid! I'm not dumb enough to flood my fields all the time. The plant roots will rot. Any fool knows that. But it seems that Lulius doesn't; these are his fields. He'll learn, but it sure seems to be taking him long enough."
- Lulius isn't from here?
- "Can't you tell? He's from the Imperial City. Fled from the Tharns is what I heard. He won't talk about it though. He knows nothing about farming, but he seems to need to be studying something, so I guess corn is pretty harmless."
