When he is first met while the Abbey is under attack by the Midnight Union he says;
- "The Midnight Union, pfah! And Sister Safia said we could trust them."
After you deal with the Union, but before turning in the quest, he says:
- "The Midnight Union's retreated—and I never got a chance to clout one of them!"
Once the Union has been driven from the grounds:
- "Well, you got the job done, though you were gentler than I would've been."

- Despite Gordon mentioning the Midnight Union having retreated, the Midnight Union bandits will continue to occupy the greater Abbey Grounds even after completing all quests and clearing the location.
