Quick WalkthroughEdit
- Talk to Sister Safia.
- Fill the bucket and put out small fires.
- Return to Sister Safia.
Detailed WalkthroughEdit
You can receive this quest from Brother Alphonse on the road to the west of Pariah Abbey, Brother Zacharie just to the east of the chapel, or Sister Safia under the bridge when you enter the grounds from the west. The former two will point you to Safia. All three will say that a group of smugglers and gamblers called the Midnight Union have turned to banditry and attacked the Abbey, setting fire to the fields. Safia will say that you can help by putting out the smaller fires. She will give you a bucket and direct you to the well.
The well is just to the southeast of Safia, being guarded by several hostile members of the Midnight Union. Fill up the bucket and set to putting out small fires. You will not need to refill the bucket between dousing the flames. After you've put out four, you'll notice the only remaining fire is the big one in the crop field. Return to Safia.
She says they should be able to make it through the winter now, and gives you 181 gold. The next quest, Azura's Guardian, can also be received from her.
NotesEdit
- The fires needing to be put out will only appear visible after filling the bucket at the well, such as the crates near the well.

- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
