Maritawen is a High Elf found in the town of Velyn Harbor. She can be found in a warehouse on the northeast island (south of Bitterpoint Strand) having a conversation with Darak.

After the related quest, she'll be involved in the clean-up effort, which is eating into her profits.

When you speak with her, she'll want to get the cleanup completed as quickly as possible.

"I'd like to get the worst of this cleared away by nightfall."

What's your hurry?

"Velyn Harbor's the main shipping port for Malabal Tor! It's the only trading port open to the Dominion not rife with piracy and corruption.
If we don't get organized, smugglers'll start going to places like Bloodgutter and we'll lose our profits!"

Piracy and corruption? Sounds interesting.

"Maybe to you, but it's no joke to us! It's hard enough getting Altmer, Bosmer, and Khajiit to fight together against the other alliances. Getting them to trade with each other is a nightmare!
Still, with the trouble come the profits."

Where's Bloodgutter?

"Just northeast of here. It's always been a haven for pirates and smugglers. I don't know for sure, but I think they came under attack the same time Velyn Harbor did.
Hmm … could be an opportunity, there. Oh, wait—nevermind! No smuggling here!"
