Plaguebreak is an Elite Gear Set that was formerly available from "Rewards for the Worthy" mails, earned by participating in PvP, prior to Update 39. It can now be obtained in boxes purchased using Alliance Points from the Bruma Quartermaster, as quest rewards in Bruma, as a reward for completing delves and dolmens throughout Cyrodiil, from completing Board Missions, and from Elite Gear Vendors. It cannot be crafted and does not drop from monsters. Pieces are Aldmeri Dominion, Daggerfall Covenant, or Ebonheart Pact Style in Medium Armor, depending on the player's alliance.

5 items: Dealing direct damage causes player enemies to become a Plague Carrier, dealing 1000 Disease damage over 10 seconds and applying the Diseased status effect. If the plague is removed early it explodes and deals 735 Disease damage to all enemies within 8 meters of the carrier, increasing by 50% per enemy hit. This effect can occur once every 20 seconds per target, once per attack, and scales off the higher of your Weapon and Spell Damage.
