Valvius Facian is an Imperial hired by Haldain Russus to work at his lumber camp and can be found inside, west of the entrance.

As you approach him and Lavinia Abitius:
- Valvius Facian: "Oh gods! Did Haldain make it out?"
- Lavinia Abitius: "Quiet! We can worry about that later. If he's dead, I don't want to join him."
Speaking to him:
- "We're so close to getting out of here, but I'm not sure we're going to make it.
I don't think we're the last ones left alive, though. Oh gods! I hope we're not the last ones." - What happened?
- "Tree creatures and animals attacked. It was awful! They came out of nowhere and started killing everyone. You're the first thing we've seen that hasn't attacked us since it started.
This camp is cursed! We should have left a long time ago." - The camp is cursed?
- "Strange things started happening weeks ago. Strange animals coming close to the camp. Angry Wood Elves cursing at us. Some of the loggers left, but we thought they were being cowards.
I wish I went with them."
