Vinice Scribonia is an Imperial who can sometimes be found in the Storehouse in Chorrol, or wandering around the west side of town. When spoken to he will tell you about the calamities that have befallen the town and direct you to Weynon Priory.

He tells you about the town.
- "Times are hard here, stranger, If not for the help we get from Weynon Priory, this would be a ghost town."
- What happened here?
- "Well, let's see. There was an earthquake, a giant fissure opened in the middle of town, lots of villagers died and buildings fell apart, and flame atronachs came out to attack us. Am I leaving anything out?"
- I don't think so.
- "Good. I'd hate to minimize our disasters for you. But in spite of all this, we're staying, those of us left alive anyway. This is still our home and we'll be dammed to Oblivion before we leave."
- Where's Weynon Priory?
- "Just to the East of here. Head out of town, cross the rickety wooden bridge over the chasm, then keep heading East. You can't miss it. Be polite if you go; they've been very good to us."
