Quick WalkthroughEdit

1. Speak to Vycius Pitio in the Dustmoth Legion Garrison, Firewatch, about confiscate contraband.
2. (Optional) Consult Darnell in the Eastern Watchtower.
3. Access Aarlen Lleranoth's basement in Helnim.
   • By persuading him to give you Aarlen Lleranoth's Key (requires 70+ disposition).
   • By pickpocketing the key.
   • By unlocking the trapdoor with magic or picks.
4. Speak to Ligrod gro-Muzar about confiscate contraband and either:
   • Kill him and Hradell, and take their moon sugar.
   • Convince him that killing a legionnaire will just get him caught (requires 40+ Speechcraft).
   • Convince him that he cannot win against you (requires Level 12+).
   • Buy the moon sugar for 250 gold (requires 250 gold and 35+ Mercantile).
5. Return to Firewatch and either:
   • Sell 20x moon sugar to S'Rabhi at the Howling Noose.
   • Keep the moon sugar.
6. Report to Vycius Pitio and either:
   • Having sold the moon sugar, lie (keep 1,000 gold).
   • Having sold the moon sugar, give him his cut (keep 500 gold).
   • Having kept the moon sugar, lie, then report to Darnell (+1 Reputation, Manual of the Red Sword).

20		I have negotiated the acquisition of the moon sugar from Ligrod Gro-Muzar.
30		I sold S'rabhi the moon sugar.
100	Finishes quest	I informed Vycius that I had sold the Moon Sugar to S'rabhi and gave him his cut.
110	Finishes quest	I told Vycius that Ligrod had no moon sugar. He was annoyed by this.
120	Finishes quest	Darnell was pleased that I stopped Ligrod's moon sugar from reaching Firewatch, and gave me a Cyrodilic text on swordsmanship.
