Rumors in the Canalworks of Almas Thirr make mention of a bookseller, Tilresi, who is soon to be raided by Ordinators on suspicion of handling heretical works. Tilresi's shop is at the northern side of the canalworks, and she will be quite keen to engage you to clear up the situation. Apparently, the book she is suspected of handling is not heretical at all, and she will ask you to secure a copy of On the Evils of Heresy, quickly, that makes the argument for this.
She recommends checking at the Temple (accessible via the Almas Thirr Lower Waistworks) for the book first. Speaking to members of the Temple, it becomes clear that Andril Selothi may be able to help. He is present in the area, and will sell a copy for 120 gold. There is another copy on his desk, which can be stolen if coin is short.
Once the book is brought to Tilresi, she will offer to reimburse you for the cost of the book. You have several options here:
- Claim it cost 300 gold - she will express surprise, but will pay.
- Claim it cost 150 gold - she thinks it sounds about right, and pays.
- Claim it cost 120 gold - she thinks it sounds about right, and pays. You get a slight disposition boost
- Claim it cost 75 or 50 gold - she is surprised at the idea of the book going so cheaply, and pays the amount. This gives a major disposition boost
- Claim it cost 40 gold or nothing - she doesn't believe you, and gives no cash reward. She gives a copy of Ruhn Ania Almsivi instead - a religious text with base cost of 350 gold. Her disposition greatly increases.
