Simeth is a Dark Elf guard and Lawman of House Telvanni who lives in Ranyon-ruhn. He stands guard on the tower of the barracks, and his elevated position means he has his finger on the pulse of most things going on in town. His post also gives him the opportunity to admire a pretty woman from afar.
For armor, he wears a complete set of Telvanni mole crab armor: cuirass, greaves, bracers, pauldrons, and helm. For clothing, he wears only a pair of expensive pants. He wields a Silver Flamesword, and carries a bonemold long bow, 35 silver arrows, and 25 ebony arrows.
Aside from his natural resistance to fire and the sanctuary provided by his ancestors, he knows the following spells: Bound Longbow.

DialogueEdit
- Background:
- "I am Simeth. I serve as a Telvanni guard for the town of Ranyon-ruhn."
- little advice:
- "Unless you're very skilled in acrobatics, avoid high places at all costs. Like the tower we're standing on right now."
- "It's the tower to the east of the town. Do you see that woman standing in front of its main entrance? That's Nataya Radasar, and I will personally deal with anyone who would hurt her."
Trouble in Ranyon-ruhn: Treachery RevealedEdit
- Greeting:
After hearing the rumors about Galdasi Thendas' supposed theft:
- "Ah, %PCName. Everything's going according to plan. I only hope we don't fail the Master. Go on, it's your turn now."
- Azariah escaped:
- "He WHAT?! That fetcher! I was watching his house like a hawk, there is no possible way he could have escaped without my notice! Unless... he was using teleportation... Oh, damn, I should have seen that one coming. Now we'll have quite a job chasing him down. I apologize to both you and Master Mithras."
- your turn:
- "Oh, Mithras hasn't told you, has he? Well, I'm the only guard who knows the plan, so I suppose he might not have told you. Okay, well, he arranged for me to remove some crates of ebony from the stockpile, and then blame the theft on Galdasi. Now the whole town wants to know how much she stole. And here's the master-stroke: you can now demand to see Azariah's ledgers to "see how much she stole". Of course, if Azariah's been faking the ledgers, it won't show any decrease. Then we've got him. So, go on!"
Trouble in Ranyon-ruhn: Time to Pay, the Telvanni WayEdit
- Greetings:
- "Master Mithras wants you to go into the catacombs? He is right that I should go with you -- this will likely be a dangerous endeavor to say the least. Shall we travel together now?"
- "Shall we travel together to the catacombs?"
- travel together:
- "Shall we go?"
- Yes, let's go.: "Good. Now, let's finish this plot!" (He follows you)
-
- No. Wait here.: "Very well. But I don't see what I'm waiting for." (He stands still)
Alchemical SlanderEdit
- slander:
- "Yes, I do know of Sinsal Nedriem's slanders. Poor Irele and Nevusa have lost almost every client to that s'wit. Nevermind. I'd love to throw him in a cell and let him rot for as long as I please, but I have no tangible evidence in my hands. Rumors are not evidence, you see. However, I do have an idea."
- Well, what is it?: "I would tell you, but before I do, I want you to do me a small favor. Have you met Nataya Radasar, %PCName?"
-
-
- "You help me, and I'll help you."
-
- If you have completed the quest 'Romance in Ranyon-ruhn':
-
- "Since you were kind enough to help me approach Nataya, I will tell you. Keep in mind though that it's not the most legal thing to do. If anyone asks, you never spoke to me about Sinsal. Alright? Good, here's what you'll do. Head over to Irele Nathryon's shop and ask her to brew you a poison, a strong one. Show it to Sinsal Nedriem and accuse him of planning to use it against Master Mithras. Do it in front of the patrons of the Dancing Jug."
- Continue: "We all respect Master Mithras here. Should they hear of such a vile plan, they will kick him out of town by themselves, no doubt about that. Go, and good luck."

-
-
- "Go for it."
-
-
- "There you are. Oh, by the looks of you I can guess what happened. Don't worry though; I've got another plan. Go see Mirisun Varen, down at the mine. He's an old friend of mine and will help us. Ask him for a piece of ebony and use it to accuse Sinsal of theft. Should the patrons hear of it, he's condemned."
- "Watch out, ebony's a heavy thing."
- "Failure again? Things like this happen; you don't need to jump off the tower. Listen up -- I've got this last plan. If this doesn't work, I don't know what will. Go see Nevusa Lakasyn, the healer. I've arranged for a special wine, Skingrad wine, to arrive at her shop. It's a very expensive beverage that comes directly from Cyrodiil, and a bottle of this wine was recently stolen from the Dancing Jug. It's odd for an officer of the law to say this, but this theft suits us just fine."
- How so?: "Because you can accuse Sinsal of this theft. He's always in the Dancing Jug, and it's something he can easily carry. There's no way he can escape this one."
- "This one is guaranteed to work. Good luck, %PCName."
Removing the GuardEdit
- guar thief:
- "Galdasi Thendas, stealing a guar a couple of days ago? Bahah! Not only is it laughable, it's impossible. She hasn't left town for the past couple of weeks or so, and even if she had, she can't steal dirt, let alone a guar."
If you have convinced the guard in Ashamul that Sinsal Nedriem is the guar thief:
- slander:
- "Turns out he was the guar thief we were worried about down at Ashamul. Weird how these things turn out, eh?"
Romance in Ranyon-ruhnEdit
- Greetings:
- "What are you doing up here? Ah, nevermind, you can stay and enjoy the view as long as Nataya doesn't spot you."
- "Back to keep me company? I appreciate it; just don't let Nataya spot you."
After finishing the quest:
- "Welcome back, %PCName! You can stay and enjoy the view as much as you like; Nataya shouldn't have a problem anymore."
- Nataya:
- "Yes, Nataya Radasar. She's very loyal to Master Mithras and very hostile to newcomers as well. But, between you and me, I believe she's rather sensitive and romantic. But... I've said too much. I barely know you."
If Disposition is at least 60:
- "You know, she appears to be tough and all, but she's just hiding her true self. I know that deep down she's really sensitive and romantic, which is the reason I'm standing up here all day long. I love to watch her, although she never spent a moment to stare at me. Alright, go ahead, laugh! A guard in love! Funny, isn't it?"
- Not at all. Go on, please.: "You, don't find it funny? That's a relief. You know, I've been thinking of ways to approach Nataya, but I cannot leave my position. I'd really want you to help me if you can." (Disposition up by 5)
-
- What could I do to help?: "Well, this is what I've been thinking; Nataya's father was once a friend of Master Mithras. After his death, Mithras was given his sword -- the Blightcutter, as he called it -- and has kept it in the tower of Tel Aranyon ever since. I'm sure Nataya would love to hold that sword in her hands so that it would remind her of her father, and I'm sure she would at least pay some attention to the man that made it happen."
-
- Go on.: "I'd like you to obtain that sword and give it to Nataya on my behalf. It's really important to me, and I don't think that Master Mithras would refuse. After all, Nataya is like a daughter to him. I'd be so grateful if you could help me, %PCName."
-
- You bet it is! Hahahaha!: "Agh, why am I even talking to you?" Goodbye (Disposition down by 5)
- "I cannot wait for Nataya to show me her true colors."
- "Do you have any news for me, %PCName? You... you made it? This is incredible! And Nataya wants to thank me, personally? You just made me a happy man, my friend; I will not forget it. Here, take this. It's not much, but in the hands of an adventurer such as yourself, it can prove to be a real treasure. Thank you again; come and visit me whenever you wish. I will be happy to talk to you." (Disposition up by 10, and you receive a Map of the Telvanni Isles)
- "Didn't I tell you? She does have feelings after all. And she feels for me too."
If Nataya is dead:
- "No! Do not mention her name! I had just begun to get to know her, and now she is gone..."
The Drunken KnightEdit
- "My colleagues told me of your efforts to help that man. And now you say the both of you brought justice to Tidril Moras? Then I suppose you do deserve a reward. Here's 150 gold pieces for Tidril's head. Wait, wait, I almost forgot. Here, Alasha Kori asked me to give you this bottle of Cyrodiilic wine, as a gift for helping her and her clients." (You receive 150 gold and a bottle of Free Estates Wine)
- "Not only did he quit drinking, but also cleared out a den of outlaws. This is unbelievable."
If Hasilius Brahn is dead:
- "I was sorry to hear that he'd died."
