The Oblivion wiki was an invaluable asset to me as I played through Oblivion and I was amazed at the incredible level of detail that was put into that wiki. Unfortunately, I was playing the game far after it was released, so most of what I encountered was not new information so I never had a chance to contribute...
With the new release of Skyrim, there is more than enough opportunity to contribute, and I eagerly look forward to being a part of continuing UESP's degree of thoroughness in documenting another one of Bethesda's masterpieces.
Google Maps APIEdit
I am amazed at the Oblivion version of Cyrodiil UESP has made using the Google Maps API! 2 things- when will the Skyrim map be up? And how can I obtain the technology to make my own personal map in the same manner. I don't want to download Google's GPS images- I want to create from scratch my own textures like UESP did for that map. Does anybody know how?
