Warning posted by User Volanaro removed, see reason below
I think that this was an mistake by you, when you've read my offer, you would know that this wasn't spam or something like this. The secound link was just an explanation about what kind of interwiki links I'm talking. When I talk about such interwiki links, how should I show which german site I mean when it's not allowed to show the site? Very logical. --Scharesoft 07:03, 21 April 2008 (EDT)
- I agree with Scharesoft. Spam is something entirely different than posting a legitimate request with external links describing the site in question. I have removed the warning, as it seemed totally invalid.
- Also, I moved the question to the Community Portal, as this concerns all users of this wiki, rather than just the Administrators. --Timenn < talk > 07:58, 21 April 2008 (EDT)

- Thank you :) --Scharesoft 09:21, 21 April 2008 (EDT)
- I can understand habing a link to your own site on your own userpage, what i didn't agree with was putting multiple links on the administrator noticeboard and saying "tell me what you think" as i said in thw arning, links like that should be added to General:Links not elsewhere --Volanaro 10:08, 21 April 2008 (EDT)
- Hmm after taking another look at you comment, looks like i may have jumped the gun a bit, as my page sais i havn't really stopped to think recently, i apologise for that. Its always good to see someone else getting involved with the site and i hope i haven't put you off. --Volanaro 10:27, 21 April 2008 (EDT)
- No problem, let's forget this misunderstanding :) --Scharesoft 10:39, 21 April 2008 (EDT)
- What misunderstanding? ;) ok, like i said, hope it didn't put you off too much. --Volanaro 10:43, 21 April 2008 (EDT)
- No, it's ok ;) --Scharesoft 10:56, 21 April 2008 (EDT)

- Although it looks like the situation has hopefully been resolved, I'd just like to add my apologies, Scharesoft. Your original post should not have been deleted; you definitely should not have been given a warning. Adding links to other sites is completely acceptable when the link is relevant to the discussion. Unfortunately, on a wiki where anyone can edit, it also means that sometimes even the editors doing followup don't fully know the site's policies or practices. Again, sorry. --NepheleTalk 16:18, 21 April 2008 (EDT)
