"Who are you? You don't look like one of the Ungodly.
Wait, are you here to help the matchmaker? Because that's me!"
What kind of help did you need?
"Yes, well, I'm in a bind. I'm considering potential grooms for Sarveeyah at-Wildur, but she refuses to talk to me. I have to know what she wants in a husband, or Wildur the Ungodly, who hired me, won't gather the dowry.
So I need you to talk to her."
I can try. Anything else?
"Eager. Great! Once you learn what Sarveeyah at-Wildur wants in a groom, talk to her father, Wildur the Ungodly. Tell him it's time to get the dowry where the grooms can inspect it, to see how serious we are.
Now, go. And be persuasive!"

If you try to speak to him before completing your task, he'll only say:

"You'd better get to it. It's only a matter of time before the clients ….
Never mind. Just go do your job."

Once you spoken to Wildur:

"Wildur the Ungodly has put up the dowry? Excellent!
We're finally getting somewhere."

After you collected the dowry:

"That's the dowry? That's better than I'd hoped—I mean, expected."

Talk to Saveeyah and her father, move the dowry per Wildur's instructions, and fight your way back to Ashtad's tent where you'll find him bound:

"You're still alive? Quick, get me out of here!"
Not until you tell me what's going on.
"All right, I suppose I owe you that. I'm not a matchmaker, I'm a swindler, a confidence man. This is one of my classics. I tell the mark I'll arrange a marriage, they gather a dowry, I steal the dowry and disappear.
Now get me out of here."
Why should I help a swindler?
"Because I've reformed! Now I only target those who deserve it, like these idiot bandits. I'm only taking their ill-gotten gains. Serves them right.
The keys to unlock my shackles are in Wildur's tent. Get them? Please?"

Speaking to him again:

"Hurry! If you take too long, these Ungodly might decide to kill me. Find those keys!"

Before you face Wildur:

"Hurry! If you take too long, these bandits will kill me."

Near the end of his tale, you'll find him with Sarveeyah at the entrance tunnel:

"Sarveeyah at-Wildur rescued me, though I guess I owe you thanks, too.
She seems nervous—you might want to talk to her."

After speaking to Sarveeyah, you can speak to him one last time:

"Can you believe Sarveeyah at-Wildur agreed to join me?
I've been a one-man act till now, but she's a bright lass and will make a great partner. And, she still holds the key for this chest."
