Runescriber Kulth is an Iron Orc found in the Valley of Scars, inside the large longhouse compound, alongside the troll Oruzkad. His use of a combination of runes and nirncrux dust on the clan's trolls are said to amplify their power.
During combat, he uses a mix of fear mage and spirit master class abilities.

- Runescriber Kulth summons a Burdening Eye that moves toward the player.

- If the Burdening Eye touches the player, it explodes, temporarily rooting the player in place and doing moderate magical damage.
- Aspect of Terror
- Runescriber Kulth casts a spell that fears the target for a short time, temporarily preventing them from moving or performing any actions. This effect passes through block, but players can break free from it. This can be interrupted to stagger Runescriber Kulth.
- Shadow Cloak
- If the target is in close proximity to Runescriber Kulth, he will turn himself invisible and move to a better location.
- Summon Shade
