The Swarming Tide is a lich found inside the Buried Sands group delve in Craglorn. He guards the entrance to the ancient burial chamber visited during The Warrior's Call, requiring you to go through him to access the chamber.
It is not required to defeat the Swarming Tide to clear the delve, only the Den Mother. During the fight, the lich summons a group of weak assassin beetles to assist.
