Mvelthngth-Schel is a vampire's lair overlooking the Armun Ashlands.
During the events of the Fighters Guild quest Recover the Map of Ushu-Dimmu, the bridge of Mvelthngth-Schel becomes the setting of a tense hostage situation, with Garonag gro-Muk threatening to kill a captured courier of Tholer Andas named Miron Salen. While Garonag can be talked down or slain, it is entirely possible for the unfortunate Miron to be thrown to his death from the broken end of the bridge.
Finding the ruinEdit
Mvelthngth-Schel is most easily accessed by following the road leading southwest from Bodrum. You'll reach a junction with a high bridge, a tomb and a shrine. Do not cross the bridge, and instead follow the (very windy) road south. At the next junction, take the dirt track leading east rather than follow the cobbled road down the hill, turning south to cross the country as soon as you meet a band of waylaid actors (see A Troupe in Trouble).
Exploring the ruinEdit
Once at the entrance, you can proceed into the first section of the ruin - Heart's Wake. The interior of this area features a large number of deep pools and a flooded sewage system - fortunately potions of rising force are available at the bottom of these to make escape possible should you fall in. In the northwestern chamber, a corpse of a well-equipped adventurer can be found on a balcony, bearing numerous pieces of Dwemer armor. The primary treasure in this section is an enchanted ebony blade however, named Saint's Black Sword, which can be found at the far-eastern end, in a room infested with Centurion Spiders.
Doors to the south of this section provide access to the observatory. Here, in a flooded pit on the eastern side, you can find a skeleton next to a glass bracer. Pieces of Dwemer armor and dwarven schematics can be found on the floors above, while the Clan Berne vampire Raenor resides on the topmost floor. Asides from the Glass Club he bears, other loot of note in his chamber includes the Enchant skill book, The Wolf Queen, Book VIII, and a chest on the balcony near the ceiling contained a random leveled Dwarven weapon.
