A black Spider Daedra

Spider Daedra are Daedric creatures that resemble a cross between a spider and a woman. They attack using a combination of ranged and melee abilities.

They are usually found in the service of Mephala. Spider Daedra come in three variants: A black-shelled model, a red-shelled model, and a model with a non-humanoid face.

Skills and AbilitiesEdit

As they are Daedric creatures, Spider Daedra are especially vulnerable to Fighters Guild abilities.

Strike: The Spider Daedra stabs with two of its legs as a basic attack, dealing minor physical damage.
Spit: Spider Daedra spits a glob of poison as a basic ranged attack, dealing minor poison damage.
Lightning Onslaught: The Spider Daedra casts a spell that sends lightning bolts forward from itself as indicated by red circles, dealing moderate shock damage. This spell can be interrupted to set the Spider Daedra off balance.
Summon Spiderling: The Spider Daedra summons a spiderling to assist it. The spiderling scales with the difficulty and location of the summoner.
Spiderling Web: The spiderling covers the floor with sticky webs that snares the target, and enables the use of Lightning Storm.^[1]
Lightning Storm: The Spider Daedra casts a spell that causes a thunderbolt to crash down on the spiderling's webbing, indicated by a red circle, doing moderate shock damage. If the spiderling is killed, the webbing disappears, preventing use of this ability once more.
Summoning Screech: The Spider Daedra stretches up before screaming loudly, causing nearby cocoons to erupt, releasing hatchlings to aid it in battle. (Imperial Sewers-only)
