Varg OdeskogEdit
Varg Odeskog | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Race | Nord | Gender | Male | ||
Level | 50, CP 477+ | Status | Active | ||
Other Information | |||||
Faction(s) | Ebonheart Pact |
Varg Odeskog is a Nord male Dragonknight. He was a werewolf for several years, and although he was a master of the skill, he rarely transformed. He has used several archetype character builds, initially using two-handed greatsword with five pieces of medium armor and two pieces of heavy armor. During this period he rarely donned a helmet, citing "All medium helmets look dumb." [2]
Varg has finished the main questline, Fighter's Guild questline, and Mage's Guild questline, all quite some time ago. He has also completed all three alliance zone main questlines through Cadwell's Almanac, and the inherent lack of continuity it poses made his head explode once.[3] Figuratively speaking, of course. He still has a head in the literal sense.
One TamrielEdit
With the One Tamriel update, Varg Odeskog was effectually rerolled to a magic-based Dragonknight build based in part upon the Laceration end-game PVE build.[4] He used a flame Destruction Staff and equipped five light armor pieces, one medium, and one heavy. He cured his lycanthropy, but did not commit to the premise of being a vampire with that build.
Morrowind and The Clockwork CityEdit
Currently Varg Odeskog is considered a stamina-based tank character, using a five heavy armor, one medium, and one light piece gear setup. His primary bar is a one-handed sword and shield, and the back bar was a two-handed greatsword used for the sole purpose of buff/debuff. However, recent changes[5] to critical core skills of his build have left him with an altogether new set-up that is totally unfamiliar in gameplay, and the second weapon is now another sword and shield. Gear setup may require a change to all heavy armor, but this has not yet been confirmed.
Varg completed the main quest(s) in Vvardenfell, but is still adventuring on the island and making his way through various side quests. He started the Clockwork City content, but once the New Life Festival began he all but forgot about it in favor of the daily quests.
Fun FactsEdit
The name Varg Odeskog was originally created to be this user's player character in Oblivion. The name references Old Norse: vargr, meaning wolf,[6] and skógr, meaning forest.[7][8][9]
Varg Odeskog has been the name of the main player character played by SCarverOrne in every Elder Scrolls game since Oblivion. In all cases, he was a Nord warrior who used a two-handed greatsword.
Christina OhrEdit
Christina Ohr | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Race | Breton | Gender | Female | ||
Level | 17 | Status | Active | ||
Other Information | |||||
Faction(s) | Ebonheart Pact |
Christina Ohr is a Breton Sorceress. The second character to be created on the account, she had a delay of several years progressing beyond the events at Bleakrock Isle but has been played more regularly since the New Life Festival. Created as a repository for runestones and additional storage when the account was transferred from PC to Xbox One, she was always intended to be an active character after that purpose was served.
Fun FactsEdit
This character was named after an old throwaway character for modded Skyrim games. The surname "Ohr" was actually derived from a mod's timer. Without a space between numbers and increments of time, 0 hours looked like 0hr, which in turn looked like Ohr. First discovered (or realized) while standing in Angeline's Aromatics, the natural progression led to a Breton character with the last name Ohr.
Shubni gra-UrathEdit
Shubni gra-Urath | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Race | Orc | Gender | Female | ||
Level | 18 | Status | Active | ||
Other Information | |||||
Faction(s) | Daggerfall Covenant |
Shubni gra-Urath is an Orc female Dragonknight. The third character to be created on the account, until recently she was only played for a brief period of time during a UESP NA guild event hosted by Deandra.[10] Created as a potential alternate character, she served as additional storage during the account transfer from PC to Xbox One, and spent most of her time before console release chatting with Angier Stower in the Bank of Daggerfall. She uses a two-handed greatsword.
Fun FactsEdit
The name Shubni gra-Urath is a particularly clever take on the name Shub-Niggurath, a dark fertility god known as the Black Goat of the Woods With A Thousand Young in the Lovecraft cycle of literature[11] (known more commonly as the Cthulhu Mythos by the partially-ignorant and acolytes of August Derleth.)
Nidhalf Storm-CrownEdit
Nidhalf Storm-Crown | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Race | Dunmer | Gender | Male | ||
Level | 47 | Status | Active | ||
Other Information | |||||
Faction(s) | Ebonheart Pact |
Nidhalf Storm-Crown is a Dunmer male Dragonknight. Focused on use of the Destruction Staff, all his focus is on skills making use of flame and fire damage. He became a vampire, not because it was desirable but to have access to Noxiphilic Sanguivoria. He successfully completed the associated vampire quest at level 10, and being as the ensuing combat was so challenging, he spent the remaining time until console release relaxing in Davon's Watch answering the private whispers of random strangers asking about riding enormous felines.[12] He now serves as an active character for adventuring with guildmates who are also lower level characters.
Fun FactsEdit
'Nidhalf' is a conjoining of two words from Old Norse: Álfr, meaning Elf,[13] and niðr, meaning kinsman[14]. With initial thought regarding the character and the possibility of future roleplaying, the concept of a rescue and adoption of a dark elf child by a Nord family seemed acceptable, possibly even commendable. The surname Storm-Crown stems from sheer apathy; after character creation and researching the first name, the thought of repeating the effort was less than appealing. So it was appropriated from Elder Scrolls lore, specifically the divine name of Talos, which means "Stormcrown" in ancient Ehlnofex [15].
Naturu AyahEdit
Naturu Ayah | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Race | Redguard | Gender | Female | ||
Level | 3 | Status | Deleted | ||
Other Information | |||||
Faction(s) | Ebonheart Pact |
Naturu Ayah is a Redguard Sorceress. Originally intended to be a provisioner, she served as a placeholder character and storage mule for the account transfer from PC to Xbox One. Since she remained mostly unused for several years, and because of the obsolescence of a continuation of her role as a pack mule for provisioning ingredients since the implementation of a crafting bag, and in the interest of making way for an open character slot a decision regarding her future was ultimately made and the character ceased to exist by way of deletion on December 31, 2016.
Fun FactsEdit
'Naturu Ayah' is a mis-remembered phonetic variation of the phrase "Na tu de-why-ya" in the Abydonian language used by the other-wordly primitive humans in the movie Stargate, specifically by a worker who notices an Eye of Ra pendant around the neck of one of the lead characters.[16] Several other phrases in this Ancient Egyptian-derived pseudo-language are used liberally throughout the movie, and need only be referenced by the extra-nerdy reader at another time.
Lurbol gro-BugdudEdit
Lurbol gro-Bugdud | |||||

Faction(s) | Daggerfall Covenant |
Lurbol gro-Bugdud was an Orc male Dragonknight. Originally intended to serve as a blacksmithing character, he served as a placeholder character and storage mule for the account transfer from PC to Xbox One. He was unused for actual gameplay, and was deleted September 11, 2015.
Fun FactsEdit
This character's name was nearly very, very different. Examples such as "Mudflap gro-Bubblebutt" and "Mudbutt gro-Bubbleguts" ultimately didn't make the final cut.
Vara'bishkaEdit
Vara'bishka | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Race | Khajiit | Gender | Female | ||

Faction(s) | Aldmeri Dominion |
Vara'bishka was a Khajiit female Nightblade. Originally intended simply to be an Aldmeri Dominion player character, she served as a placeholder character and storage mule for the account transfer from PC to Xbox One. Having never been used for actual gameplay, she was deleted September 11, 2015 to make room for a replacement character.
Fun FactsEdit
SCarverOrne once knew a guy named Bob. Bob was a little weird. He would utter Slavic-sounding phrases and giggle to himself. One of these was, phonetically, something akin to 'Varabishka.'
Quintus Olaus SegadicusEdit
Quintus Olaus Segadicus | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Race | Imperial | Gender | Male | ||
Level | 19 | Status | Active | ||
Other Information | |||||
Faction(s) | Aldmeri Dominion |
Quintus Olaus Segadicus is a Imperial Male Dragonknight. The first active Aldmeri Dominion player character, he was created upon the deletion of two mule characters. His play style is that of a tank, wearing heavy armor and primarily wielding a sword and shield.
Fun FactsEdit
SCarverOrne has long been friends with an individual whose Xbox gamertag is "segadc." Presumably the meaning behind the gamertag is that they have an affinity for Sega, and they live in or around the Washington D.C. metro area, to SCarverOrne it sounded almost as if it could be pronounced in a way similar to that of a citizen of the Roman Empire. Quintus simply was a common Roman name, and Olaus relates to the latinized name Olaus Wormius, a supposed translator of the fictional occult tome the Kitab al-Azif.
Dugahl MoranEdit
Dugahl Moran | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Race | Dunmer | Gender | Male | ||
Level | 7 | Status | Deleted | ||
Other Information | |||||
Faction(s) | Ebonheart Pact |
Dugahl Moran is a Dunmer Male Dragonknight. This character was made as a "refresher" upon SCarverOrne's return to ESO after a period of several months absence. The character's playstyle is virtually identical to that of Nidhalf Storm-Crown (see above.)
Fun FactsEdit
Harkening back to the days of TES III: Morrowind, SCarverOrne sought to create a new character for that game using proper Dunmeri naming conventions. Springboarding off the name of his most well-known character, Varg Odeskog, he took the basic translation from Old Norse into Dunmeri by way of a little known language called Latin with a touch of English or whatever. This developed as the following steps in a semi-coherent partially logical transliteration of "muh brain thoughts" into a sensible two word standard structured nomenclature.
English | Latin/Dunmeri |
---|---|
lost | errat |
forest | mora |
wild beast | dugahl |
to leave | khurhad / khurh'ag |
of | am |
the | as |
The results of which became Dugahl am as errat mora, Dugahl Errat mora, and inevitably Dugahl Moran.
Ultimately the discussion is entirely scholastic due to the fact that this character was deleted December 28, 2016.
Lillisandra FernhollowEdit

Fun FactsEdit
Another subject of strict racially and culturally appropriate nomenclature, the name Lillisandra Fernhollow is in compliance with proper naming conventions as outlined by knowledgeable sources.[17]

Varg Odeskog is a Nord male. The tales of his deeds are known throughout Skyrim, and his reputation precedes him ever since his escape from both an Imperial execution and subsequent dragon attack and destruction of the town of Helgen. He saved the whole of Nirn by defeating the dragon Alduin; indeed, he learned the powers of the Tongues, traveled to Sovngarde itself and shouted the World-Eater out of existence. He supported the Stormcloak rebellion against the Empire, but in retrospect wishes he had remained neutral, now believing both sides were inherently wrong regarding various facts and actions[18][19][20].
He is married to Sylgja, a miner from the town of Shor's Stone. He has two adopted children: Lucia, whom he took from a life of begging in the Wind District of Whiterun, and Sofie, a young girl living on the streets of Windhelm. The family resides at Lakeview Manor, their estate in Falkreath Hold with Sylgja's mother, Annekke Crag-Jumper, who is also Varg's steward at the residence. Also found at the estate are a bard named Llewellyn the Nightingale, a carriage driver named Gunjar, and a housecarl appointed by the Jarl named Rayya.
Aside from being the Last Dragonborn and the events he undertook on the island of Solstheim, Varg has affiliations with nearly every faction one can enlist with in the province. He is the Harbinger of the Companions, the Arch-Mage of the College of Winterhold, the Listener of the Dark Brotherhood, a member of the Bards College, a member of the Dawnguard, one of the Nightingales, and while he never completely committed himself to becoming Guildmaster of the Thieves Guild, he did return it to its former glory by exposing and defeating its former leader, Mercer Frey. He was a student of the Greybeards and initially considered himself a pupil of the Way of the Voice, however his commitment to the philosophy as a whole was limited to selected principles as he could not abide by its fundamental tenets, as they contradicted his own path. However, he is a Blade, and due to Todd Howard being a donkus was forced to choose sides between Paarthurnax and the Greybeards or Esbern, Delphine, and the Blades. Vociferously condemning the forced decision, he slayed Paarthurnax with great lament. After this was done, he laid down his sword and returned to his family. And he remains there to this day. Or save point.
Fun FactsEdit
While Rayya was appointed as the personal housecarl to Varg at his Lakeview Manor estate, he cannot remember the last time he actually saw her. Whether she is simply wandering the grounds and he hasn't consciously noticed her, she attended him elsewhere and he left her there, or she was killed some time ago and this was obscured by the passage of time is completely unknown.
On a related note, one of Varg's stewards is very much deceased. Marcurio was hired by Varg to the position of steward for his estate in the Pale, Heljarchen Hall. However, he became bugged and would neither enter the building nor take orders regarding his appointed duties. In the end, to solve the problem (and also because Marcurio's a dick) Varg was forced to shuffle off the Imperial's mortal coil and hire a new steward to the recently vacated position.
It is well-known Varg has a great distaste for Altmer, especially the Thalmor and the third incarnation of the Aldmeri Dominion, referring to them as "those bastard elves," "knife-ears," "dandelion-eaters," and "Keebs."
While a great many events may have affected this user during the course of the Elder Scrolls Online, only a handful managed to pull at the heartstrings during his adventures throughout the Skyrim of the Fourth Era. One such quest took place in the ruins of Arkngthamz, where he encountered the ghost of a young woman who tragically fell to her death within. But nothing affected him more than the death of Vittoria Vici. A more or less unremarkable Imperial woman living next door to one of Varg's residences in Solitude and serving as the overseer of the East Empire Company's business in the region, her only notable distinction seemed to be that she was the cousin to Emperor Titus Mede II. After her death occurred during her own wedding celebration at the hands of a Dark Brotherhood assassin, her widower husband Asgeir mournfully returned to Riften, and will never again speak of that day. Vittoria was interred within the Solitude Catacombs, still wearing her wedding dress.

Varg Odeskog is a Nord male. He is the spiritual successor to his earlier incarnation on Xbox 360, being both a remake and a revision. Like his former self, Varg Odeskog uses a full set of heavy armor. Unlike his former version, however, he does not use a two-handed greatsword; he dual-wields with two war axes.
Varg defeated the World-Eater, Alduin, and returned from Sovngarde to the cheers of both the honored dead and the celebrant living. He reclaimed Auriel's Bow and defeated an ancient vampire lord, thereby saving the day (quite literally) and the fate of mortal man. He recovered the lost Edda of Svaknir, which led to the reinstatement of the traditional Burning of King Olaf in Solitude. Varg also exposed the treachery and deceit of Mercer Frey, cleared the name of Karliah, avenged Gallus, and restored the temple of Nocturnal (and all key-like artifacts therein) to its full potential. He is the Listener of the Dark Brotherhood, the Thane of all nine holds, the Arch-Mage of the College of Winterhold, the Harbinger of the Companions, and the secret admirer of Sigrid of Riverwood.
He became Champion of various Daedric princes, and received word of trouble on the island of Solstheim. He has not yet visited the area, however.

She became the Guild Master of the Thieves Guild in Riften, stopped the resurrection of the "Wolf Queen" Potema, and became the Thane of Whiterun, The Pale, Hjaalmarch, Haafingar, Falkreath, and Winterhold before finally getting around to visiting the Greybeards at High Hrothgar and, inevitably, meeting Delphine and addressing the issue of a dragon attacking Kynesgrove. The first character to be played as a supporter of the Empire and member of the Imperial Legion, she swiftly gained the rank of Legate and crushed the rebellion of the Stormcloaks, summarily executed the traitor Ulfric Stormcloak, and ended the civil war in Skyrim.
She is the Champion of Boethiah, Clavicus Vile, Hermaeus Mora twice over, Hircine, Malacath, Mehrunes Dagon , Mephala, Meridia, Molag Bal, Namira, Nocturnal, Peryite, Sanguine, Sheogorath, and Vaermina, although it should be noted she is not so much a Champion of Sheogorath as a recipient of a staff and survivor of an encounter.

Fun FactsEdit
This face model was originally intended for another character; one with fair skin, green eyes, and red (ginger) hair. However, after playing the Skyrim SE character of the same name, the model was re-appropriated. It is very likely the original character design will eventually be made, which will probably make SCarverOrne look like an unoriginal bastard with no creativity. And he can live with that.
